I am motivated to be successful if I'm interested and passionate about something or it something important to me. However if something doesn't spark an interest or seems pointless I struggle with finding motivation. To help with this you could limit assignments that are busy work and pointless and I could attempt to be more open and accepting of assignments I don't completely enjoy or agree with.
From art fundamentals I'd like to improve my painting skills and learn more about how different types of art.
